About roof restoration

A full roof restoration brings a tired tiled roof back to good condition. It deals with what you can see, such as moss, faded colour and crooked ridge caps, and with what keeps water out, such as the bedding and pointing under the caps and the condition of the valleys and tiles.

For most restorations we do not need to inspect the roof in person to quote it. We measure and assess the roof from satellite imagery and email you a fixed-price quote. If the imagery is not good enough, we will say so and ask for photos.

A restoration usually takes a few days on site, depending on the size of the roof and the weather. Cleaning has to dry before repairs and coatings go on, and coatings need dry conditions, so dates can move if rain is forecast. We keep you updated if that happens. You do not need to be home for most of the job, but we will let you know when we arrive and when we finish each stage.
